Our History
Jephthah Compreahensive Secondary School is a private christian bording and day Junior and Senior Secondary School for both boys and girls. The name JEPHTHAH means "God Opens." Jephthah was established on 6th October, 1995. Jephthah is known for her EXCELLENCE. Discipline and Christian values. We are a centre for BECE, WASSCE, NECO, SSCE, JAMB, CAMBRIDGE GCE AND IGCSE and American examinations: PSAT, SAT, ACT

Our Philosophy
The philosophy of JCSS is succinctly hinged upon 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness". We believe that the Bible is the only inspired and infallible authoritative word of god who is the author of all TRUTH.

The examination is compulsory for all grade 12 students in Jephthah.

The examination is compulsory for all grade 9 &12 students in Jephthah.

Jephthah Comprehensive Secondary School is approved by the Rivers State Ministry of Education to run both the Junior and Senior Secondary Schools. We are approved as a centre for the Rivers State JSCE and the examination is compulsory for all Junior Secondary (JS3) grade 9 students.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary level institutions. The board conducts entrance examinations for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The exam is compulsory for all grade 12 students in Jephthah.
